Fragmentos digitais da dor: emoções e feminismos nas narrativas digitais de mulheres vítimas de violência sexual

Abstract

This work examines sexual violence against women through digital narratives known as exposeds, using netnographic and autoethnographic approaches. The research investigates how these narratives challenge social norms and propose new forms of feminist resistance, highlighting the importance of memories and emotions in the construction of these narratives and their social and emotional impacts. Grounded in the Anthropology of Emotions and Cultural and Gender Studies, the work provides a comprehensive literature review to explore the complex interactions between memory, trauma, emotion, gender, and testimony. To this end, I also analyze publications from six interlocutors who were victims of rape—three Brazilian and three Portuguese—who were interviewed across various platforms and moments. The digital narratives are examined within the context of X (formerly Twitter), identified as a confessional space where personal experiences are shared in a direct and emotional manner. This approach is complemented by autoethnography, which incorporates my personal experience as a victim of sexual violence, providing a deeper and positioned understanding of the interlocutors' narratives.
