| Resumo: | O presente projeto trata da criação de um conjunto de ilustrações desenvolvidas em técnicas tradicionais, para contos do livro Clássicos Japoneses Sobrenaturais, do autor Richard Gordon, publicado pela editora Dark Side, em 2023. Para potencializar as ações desse projeto foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa de artistas/ilustradores que criam suas obras com a temática da cultura japonesa para os mais distintos suportes, como livros, filmes, jogos, entre outros, esse processo permitiu maior aproximação da estética e estilo japonês. Além disso, esse projeto tem como ênfase um relato do processo artístico e da minha experiência na produção das ilustrações, traçando o fio condutor até o resultado final. |
| Abstract: | The present project addresses the creation of a set of illustrations developed using traditional techniques for the short stories in the book Japanese Supernatural Classics, by author Richard Gordon, published by DarkSide Books in 2023. In order to enhance the actions of this project, research was conducted on artists and illustrators who produce works with themes related to Japanese culture across a wide range of media, such as books, films, games, among others. This process allowed for a closer approach to Japanese aesthetics and style. In addition, this project emphasizes an account of the artistic process and my experience in the production of the illustrations, tracing the guiding thread up to the final result. |
