Pedagogia hospitalar: Influência de pedagogos em espaços não escolares

Abstract

This present Final Course Work, from the Degree in Pedagogy at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, proposes to reflect on and analyze the practices of a pedagogue in non-school spaces, with an emphasis on the hospital and home environment, in which many children of various ages go through different illnesses and are prevented from attending educational institutions. In this way, this research will study, analyze, and reflect on the emergence of non-school spaces, their importance, the legislation present in Brazilian territories, with observation in the city of Juiz de Fora. Furthermore, the research will show the effects of humanized treatment in hospital environments, through therapeutic playful activities, aiming to reduce the child's suffering and anxiety, and to generate a feeling of welcome and acceptance during the hospitalization and treatment process. Moreover, it will be observed the importance of bringing the child closer to typical childhood activities and always seeking exercises that resemble experiences promoted in school environments.
