Abstract

The present academic work aims to identify and analyze the presence and approach of Active Learning Methodologies in teacher training at the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora. To achieve this objective two methods were used, the first was the bibliographic analysis of articles referring to the topic and the techniques associated with them, and the second was the documentary analysis of the Institutional Pedagogical Project updated in 2018 and the Pedagogical Projects of the Licentiate Degree Courses of Juiz de Fora approved by the beginning of December. According to the information obtained, it was discovered that, except for the Physics course, the topic is not covered much in college classrooms. Furthermore, the term does not appear in the Institutional Pedagogical Project and does not appear in some of the Pedagogical Projects of the Courses
