O reencontro entre Angola e Brasil: a multiplicidade na obra Desmedida de Ruy Duarte de Carvalho

Abstract

This thesis promotes a study of the work Desmedida, by Ruy Duarte de Carvalho (2010), in light of the main theorists who will guide this study and the entire analytical perspective of the work. We will use as a basis for our work the book Mil Platôs, by Deleuze and Guattari (2011), in order to observe how Desmedida presents an opening of “unmeasured” possibilities for both the chronicler and us, the readers. At this point, our analysis will demonstrate how the work of Ruy Duarte de Carvalho has been woven for years in a rhizomatic perspective based on readings, experiences and travels. Another theoretical support comes from the discussion on Interdisciplinarity brought by several authors, such as Julia Kristeva (2005), Gérard Genette (2010), Tiphaine Samoyault (2008), among others. We will also discuss inter/transdisciplinarity based on the work of Basarab Nicolescu (1999) and Cássio Eduardo Viana Hissa (2002). With a multi-significant construction of the chronicler's identity and in the search to understand the historical "cosmoagonies" (Carvalho, 2010, p. 51) between Angola and Brazil, this study aims to demonstrate how the flows and multiplicities that have traversed our history cause the relationships between individuals, spaces and knowledge to start from diverse connections and points that intertwine, thus generating countless other possibilities, composed of elements that may even be contradictory to each other.
