Abstraçãozinha: uma análise advinda do percurso de crianças no ato de abstrair

Abstract

This work investigates the path of abstract thought in the creative process, analyzing children's artistic productions based on experimentation and recording in notebooks. The research is based on Paul Klee's methodology and notes, establishing a parallel between his creative process and the construction of abstraction in the context of children. To this end, the pictorial productions of students from the João XXIII School of Application at UFJF were examined, also considering the impact of artistic references. The analysis showed that abstraction is not limited to the end result, but manifests itself in the process of creation, where experimentation and subjectivity play a central role. The conclusion is that children's abstraction is constructed as a field open to interpretation, in which the development of their own visual language emerges from the dialog between the conscious and the unconscious in the act of creating.
